Mourinho expects England to qualify

Jose Mourinho is convinced England will qualify for the 2010 World Cup.

The former Chelsea boss has returned to Portugal but he has been linked with the vacant England manager's job.

"They will be back for the World Cup in South Africa" - Jose Mourinho

He has admitted he misses football and has not ruled himself out of the running to replace Steve McClaren but insists he is not in a rush to take a job.

Mourinho said: "My job at the moment is to take care of my family and things in Portugal, to enjoy my life, not 100 per cent because there is no football, but enjoying my life.

"There are lots of good managers around the world.

"The only thing I say it's a pity England is not in Euro 2008 but for sure they will be back for the World Cup in South Africa, they have to choose the right person for that."
