Dad: 'Berbatov wants to quit Spurs'
Dimitar Berbatov wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports quoting the Bulgarian hitman's dad.
The 26-year-old's future at White Hart Lane has been the subject of much speculation.
Premier League champions Manchester United were linked with a big money move for Berbatov after he scored 16 goals in his first season with Spurs.
Berbatov pledged his future to Tottenham but has seen the men from the Lane struggle this season.
The north Londoners' sporting director Damien Comolli has insisted that the £10.9 million signing from Bayer Leverkusen is not looking to leave the club.
But Berbatov's father has been quoted as telling Bulgarian TV: "My son doesn't feel happy at Tottenham any more. He wants to leave."
