Cech extends Chelsea contract

Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has described Petr Cech as the best goalkeeper in the world.
Cech has signed a five-year contract with the club and Scolari made it clear the Czech international will be his first choice despite the mistake he made against Turkey at Euro 2008.

Scolari said: "I am delighted that Petr has signed a new contract.
"In my view he is the best goalkeeper in the world, so I am very pleased that he will remain with me at Chelsea."
Cech has played 166 games for Chelsea since he signed in 2004 and he has kept 90 clean sheets.
He said: "It is an honour to be at a club like Chelsea and I am very happy to have renewed my contract with them."
