Former Big Brother contestant Jade Goody is to marry her partner Jack Tweed when he leaves jail, according to reports.

The 27-year-old, who was given a 50 per cent chance of survival after being diagnosed with cervical cancer, has been talking about marriage during weekly prison visits.

The mother-of-two is reportedly spending £10,000 on an engagement ring on the promise Tweed will repay her.

Tweed, 21, is serving 18 months in Chelmsford prison in Essex after being convicted of assault. He is due to be released in May.

Goody who had a hysterectomy last month said at the time: "Most people plan their weddings. But I'm planning my funeral."

"Some people say they don't want people crying, but I want people to cry over me! And I don't want anyone to have a booze-up when I'm dead! They should have a cup of tea and be crying!" she said.
