Madonna knocked off top spot
Pop star Madonna has been knocked off the top of the UK singles chart by Salford boy girl duo the Ting Tings.
Jules de Martino and Katie White displaced Madonna's 4 Minutes featuring Justin Timberlake with their song That's Not My Name.
Rihanna's new entry Take a Bow went in at number two, while Will I Am's Heartbreaker stayed put at number four and Wiley's Wearing My Rolex dropped three places to number five.
Veteran US singer Neil Diamond made history with his album Home Before Dark which went to the top of the album charts.
It is Diamond's first number one studio album, coming 42 years after the release of his debut The Feel Of Neil Diamond
Diamond's only other number one album was a compilation, The Greatest Hits 1962-1992.
The singer-songwriter has notched up 125 million worldwide record sales, three dozen Top 40 hits, a Grammy and a Golden Globe.
Elsewhere in the album chart, Pendulum's electro-rocking In Silico was new at number two, while techno-fest Jumping All Over the World by Scooter was down two places to number three.
Welsh Artist Duffy was down one place to number four with Rockferry and Madonna's Hard Candy dropped to number five, having been knocked off the top spot last week.
