Heather splits from divorce team
Heather Mills has split from the law firm representing her in her bitter divorce battle from Sir Paul McCartney.
A spokeswoman from Mishcon de Reya said: "We are not representing her any more."
The move came after Mills recently gave a series of interviews on GMTV and on a US network, discussing her divorce and criticising her portrayal in the media.
The former model described her recent TV outbursts as "unbelievably cathartic".
In her most recent interview, Mills hit back at reports that she had been furious at seeing pictures of ex-Beatle Paul kissing married US millionairess Nancy Shevell.
She said: "In that situation with Paul, there was no phone call, there was no tears and tantrums - there was nothing."
She added: "Basically I just said 'I wish you all the best' and that was it, when we did swap over. It's none of anybody's business what happens in Paul's love life."
The 39-year-old also revealed that Sir Paul had not responded to her recent appearances in the media in which she claimed he had originally agreed to admit he was at fault for the breakdown of their marriage.
Asked if Sir Paul had tried to prevent her from speaking out, Mills replied: "I can't go into whether he has tried to gag me.
"The reason we are not divorced is because, basically, I am not meant to talk."
