US diner survives crash diet
A man had a lucky escape when a car crashed into the restaurant booth where he was sitting.
Kenneth Anderson was at the Coffee House and Diner in North Carolina in the US when the car ploughed through the window, shoving him and the entire booth into the counter.
Mr Anderson, who says he doesn't remember the accident, picked up his hat and walked away from the crash as if nothing had happened.
He said: "The doctor who checked me couldn't believe I didn't have a broken bone - just cuts and bruises is all he could find.
"I got shot at in Vietnam, I jumped out of airplanes but I never had nothing like that happen to me."
The 60-year-old woman driving the car apparently suffered a blackout but also escaped injury.
