Cavalli: Posh 'wanted hips' from outfits
Victoria Beckham wanted her outfits for the Spice Girls tour to "give her hips", designer Roberto Cavalli has revealed.
The Italian, who designed the costumes for their comeback tour, told a magazine how each of the Spices had different requirements.
He said: "I met each one on their own so I could get an idea of their personality.
"I asked them about their bodies, what they wanted to show and hide, and we talked about how they had evolved in the years since they were Spice Girls."
He said that Mel B wanted "shiny, body-conscious clothes" while new mum Emma wanted to be more "conservative and covered-up".
He also explained that Mel C was given more trousers because "she wanted to be more rock chick than sporty".
As for Posh, Cavalli said she was keen to experiment, and "her only request was that we give her hips".
The Spice Girls tour is set to hit the UK on December 15 at London's O2 Arena.
