Raikkonen claims French pole

Kimi Raikkonen will be on pole position for the French Grand Prix, while Lewis Hamilton will start from 13th.
Raikkonen was fastest in qualifying at Magny Cours, ahead of his Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa.
Hamilton was third-fastest but he has been demoted ten places on the grid
Hamilton was third fastest but he has been demoted ten places on the grid as punishment for driving into Raikkonen at the Canadian Grand Prix.
The odds are stacked against Hamilton winning the race because every winner in the history of the event has started from the first two rows on the grid.
David Coulthard will start the race from ninth on the grid.
Jenson Button only qualified in 17th position.
