Obama's camp slams Ludacris song
A song by rapper Ludacris criticising Hillary Clinton and John McCain has been slammed by Barack Obama's camp.
In Politics As Usual, the rapper urges the Democratic presidential candidate against appointing Mrs Clinton as his running mate because "she hated on you", while he said Mr McCain does not belong in "any chair unless he's paralysed".
He also lays into President Bush calling him "mentally handicapped".
Mr Obama's spokesman Bill Burton said: "Ludacris is a talented individual but he should be ashamed of these lyrics.
"As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn't want his daughters or any children exposed to."
The Ludacris song urges black people to cast their votes in the forthcoming election, and lends his support to Mr Obama's bid. The star's publicist declined to comment.
