The young cast of Harry Potter had the city of Los Angeles spellbound when they took part in a Hollywood ritual.

Wizard wannabes went wild for Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as they turned up to Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

Thousands of fans have now signed a petition to urge author JK Rowling to keep writing the novels.

And by the deafening sound their LA fan club made for their Hogwarts hero, they won't be giving him up without a fight.
