Who can see Kids are Alright
Who frontman Roger Daltrey has spoken of the inspiration behind his annual charity gigs.
Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend will perform a rare acoustic set at the Royal Albert Hall during a string of concerts for his Teenager Cancer Trust this week.
This year's shows feature new talent like Duffy as well as Paul Weller, dubbed the Modfather after championing the legacy of bands like the Who.
Money from the annual event has built units for teenage cancer patients in cities including leeds, newcastle and glasgow.
And this year Daltrey is hoping to raise cash for four more centres this year.
Daltrey, who once sang "hope I die before I get old", says his days as the face of teenage rebellion make him feel the suffering of the young victims more keenly.
