Bollywood superstars get married
Two of Bollywood's biggest stars are swapping fantasy for the real thing and getting married.
The long anticipated union of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai - who have played star-crossed lovers on the silver screen - has sent Indian film fans into a flurry.
In their latest hit movie Guru, Rai played the supporting wife to Bachchan who portrays a man from a small Indian village who strives to become a top industrialist.
Some supporters have been camping outside of the couple's respective homes for days waiting to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom as they prepare for their wedding.
A pre-wedding Mehandi ceremony - mainly for female family members who pamper the bride - has taken place at the former Miss World's house in Mumbai.
Designer Neeta Lulla says she has made a special sari and a red and gold embroidered skirt for Rai to wear at the lavish ceremony.
Despite the intense media interest in the nuptials, relatives are appealing for privacy for the happy couple.
