Flintoff on comeback trail
England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is beginning his competitive comeback from injury.
The England star will play for Lancashire second XI against their Durham counterparts.
The 30-year-old has not played any cricket since suffering a side strain playing against Durham in early May.
He will be joined at Alderley Edge by Glen Chapple who is on his way back from a groin injury. Neither have decided if they will bowl.
Lancashire boss Mike Watkinson said: "You see him on the exercise bike and the treadmill, where he seems to have been a permanent feature.
"He's worked very hard at that and is very committed."
He added: "He's started his batting programme, which goes alongside his bowling, so he can get back in top form as soon as possible."
