Speight is urged to get in touch
Mark Speight's best friend has urged the missing television presenter to contact his friends or family.
Mr Speight has not been seen since Monday when CCTV cameras showed him boarding an southbound underground train on the Bakerloo line at Queen's Park, west London at 2.47pm on Monday.
He was due to meet a relative in Covent Garden at 3.30pm but did not arrive and the alarm was raised shortly afterwards.
Stu Goldsmith, 42, has known Mr Speight since they went to school together in Wolverhampton and is concerned his friend may be on the verge of a nervous breakdown following the recent death of his fiancee Natasha Collins as a result of a drugs overdose.
Mr Goldsmith said: "All I am doing is asking him to come forward because his family are so worried about him. I have no idea where he is at the moment. All I hope is that he is all right.
"He was very outgoing at school and was well known for having a great laugh and joking around. But there was also a serious side to him. Natasha was a lovely girl and the two of them were clearly very in love."
Mr Speight was seen boarding a southbound train on the Bakerloo line at Queen's Park at 2.47pm on Monday.
That was five days after an inquest found Miss Collins died in a scalding hot bath after taking cocaine, wine and vodka.
Mark was originally arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying Class A drugs but last month Scotland Yard said he would not face any charges over the death.
