Drogba inspires Chelsea
A Didier Drogba brace has shot Chelsea ahead of Arsenal in the Barclays Premier League title race.
The Ivory Coast international scored both goals in a 2-1 victory over their London rivals to keep pressure on Manchester United at the top of the table.
Arsenal had gone ahead at Stamford Bridge through neat Bacary Sagna near-post header after 59 minutes.
But Chelsea, defending a proud undefeated home record, fired back through Drogba, who struck in the 73rd and 82nd minutes to move the Blues into second, five points behind Manchester United.
For Arsenal the results continues a poor run of form which has seen them drop 11 points in the last five games and six points behind United.
The match-winner said: "It is always difficult to play against Arsenal, but I think we deserved it.
"This result will give us the belief that we can still win the race for the title, but Arsenal are not dead."
