Ramos happy at Spurs
Tottenham manager Juande Ramos insists he is happy at the club despite reports claiming he could return to Spain.
Spurs are still waiting for their first league win this season and they have slipped to the bottom of the table but Ramos denied suggestions he is homesick.
He said: "It is not true at all. I'm delighted to be in London and delighted to be at Tottenham. I am having a marvellous experience. It is difficult because we have had many new players coming in and they need time for adaptation.
"Some did not come in until just before the transfer window closed and it is very difficult to adapt all at once."
Spurs begin their defence of the Carling Cup when they play fellow Premier League strugglers Newcastle this week.
Ramos added: "We have to try new situations and allow people to settle into the team. I know the supporters reacted and maybe that is justified but I don't believe it is personal and we must continue to work together to get things right. We have a new game in a different competition on Wednesday and will do everything we can to win that."
