Stallone guilty on hormone charges
Sylvester Stallone has pleaded guilty to taking banned muscle-building hormones into Australia.
He was stopped by the authorities in Februrary as he flew into Sydney to promote the latest Rocky film.
A bag search revealed 48 vials of the human growth hormone product, Jintropin.
And the prosecution claims that three days later Sly threw four vials of the male hormone testosterone from his Sydney hotel room when customs officials arrived to search it.
The actor did not appear in court, but his lawyer told the judge the 60-year-old star did not know he was breaking the law.
In a letter submitted to the court, Stallone said it had been a "terrible mistake".
The actor will be sentenced next week. The maximum penalty for bringing Jintropin is five years in prison, but Stallone can only face a fine because the matter is being heard by a local court.
