Joorabchian could buy English club

Kia Joorabchian, the man at the centre of the Carlos Tevez row, says that he is still interested in buying an English club.

Joorabchian failed in his bid to land West Ham United last year, the club to which he controversially took Tevez and Argentina compatriot Javier Mascherano last August.

"If the right club with the right investment opportunity comes up, we'll take a look at it" - Kia Joorabchian

And the Iranian businessman has indicated that he could look to make a possible investmen in a Premier League club.

He said: "If the right club with the right investment opportunity comes up, we'll take a look at it.

"We're still very interested in having a club in the Premier League.

"It's not for the near future but I still haven't made up my mind about when it would happen or if it would happen."
