Bon Jovi play Mexico fundraiser
Bon Jovi want to raise awarness for the Chapultepec forest in Mexico.
The rockers have played a small gig with Latin American pop talents Fito Paez and Mexican artist Aleks Syntek in Mexico City.
The forest houses the 14th century majestic Chapultepec Castle, proof of Mexico's rich history and once home to Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes, French emperor Maximilian of Hapsburg and his wife Carlotta, as well as Dictator Porfirio Diaz.
It has been turned into a museum and important artefacts ranging for the Conquest of Mexico to the Mexican Revolution can be seen there.
The concert took place in the 18th-century colonial museum, Antiguo Colegio de San Idelfonso.
Fito Paez said: "We are going to recover the Chapultepec forest, money will also be donated to the "Restrepo" foundation in Colombia, it's fabulous, it's a noble cause, so here we are to support this."
