Pizarro: 'Chelsea can topple Man United'

Chelsea summer signing Claudio Pizarro is confident Jose Mourinho's Blues can wrest the Premier League title back from Manchester United.

And the 28-year-old Peru striker, who won the German Bundesliga crown with Bayern Munich in 2006, believes the men from Stamford Bridge can win the Champions League.

Sir Alex Ferguson's Red Devils brought Mourinho's men's two-year reign as domestic champions to an end last season while Liverpool put paid to their hopes of being crowned champions of Europe for the first time.

Chelsea beat Arsenal to win the Carling Cup at the end of February before beating United to lift the FA Cup in the first final at the new-look Wembley Stadium last month.

Pizarro said: "I have a new challenge to face and I'm delighted with it. Now, I have the opportunity to win the Champions League with a great team and a great coach.

"My goal is to win the Premier League title and all the other cups we'll play in."
