Jennifer Aniston has top celebrity face

Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston has beaten off tough competition to be voted the top selling celebrity face, according to Forbes.com.

The poll looked at the sales of six popular celebrity publications over a six-month period and calculated the number of covers celebrities appeared on, measuring also the consumer appeal of each star.

The Friends star beat her ex-hubby Brad Pitt who came in second place and is the only man on the top ten list, proving his rugged looks can send magazines flying off the shelves.

Pitt's current partner Angelina Joile was pipped to the third spot by Lost in Translation star Scarlett Johansson.

Other celebrities to be voted the world's top cover stars included Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes and Jennifer Hudson.

But there was more bad news for Britney Spears, as she was named the celeb with the lowest consumer appeal along with Paris Hilton, despite the Toxic singer managing to appear on more covers of magazines than anybody else on the list.
