TV show unveils new Gladiators

The 12 Gladiators starring in the new series of the popular TV show have been unveiled.

The six men and six women will be known by a variety of names such as Battleaxe, Spartan and Inferno.

Ian Wright and Kirsty Gallacher have been lined up to present the new series

They include former athlete Du'aine Ladejo, who won a silver medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and who also took part in the reality show Celebrity Love Island.

The oldest is Damar Martin from Croydon, who will be known as Destroyer, while the youngest is Lucy Boggis, who will be called Tempest.

Ian Wright and Kirsty Gallacher have been lined up to present the new series which starts next month, with the original Scottish referee John Anderson judging the contest.

Members of the public will be challenging the new line-up of gladiators for a £50,000 prize.
