Justine Henin has won the French Open for the third year in a row.

The Belgian beat Serbia's Ana Ivanovic 6-1 6-2 at Roland Garros to complete a hat-trick of wins and her fourth victory on the Paris clay.

"She is a great player and you have to play really well to beat her" - Ana Ivanovic

Ivanovic made a good start by breaking Henin's serve in the opening game but Henin responded well by winning eight games in a row.

Ivanovic said: "She played a good game. She is a great player and you have to play really well to beat her."

The match lasted just 65 minutes.

Henin has cemented her position as the world number one and now seems certain to arrive at Wimbledon as the top seed.
