Carlos Tevez has revealed that he is "interested" in leaving West Ham United for Italian champions Inter Milan.

The 23-year-old Argentina striker helped keep the Hammers in the Premier League weighing in with seven crucial goals in their last ten games of the season.

"I know Inter is interested in me. It would be nice to play in Italy" - Carlos Tevez

But he appears set to leave Upton Park, almost a year after completing his controversial switch from Brazilian side Corinthians.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with Tevez but it would seem that he would like to leave the Premier League for Italy's Serie A to join Argentina compatriots Hernan Crespo, Julio Cruz, Walter Samuel, Esteban Cambiasso, Javier Zanetti, Nicolas Burdisso, Mariano Gonzalez and Santiago Solari.

Tevez, who is currently preparing for this month's Copa America in Venezuela, said: "I know Inter is interested in me.

"It would be nice to play in Italy, especially in a team that has so many Argentinians. There will be some meetings, some discussions, but I really don't know anything official yet."
