Contracts for Sidebottom and Anderson
Ryan Sidebottom and James Anderson have been awarded central contracts by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Both bowlers have impressed for England this summer after proving their form in county cricket and are now considered integral players in the Test and one-day teams.
They are given 12-month contracts, but Sussex wicketkeeper Matt Prior has not been awarded a contract, despite playing a key role in recent months.
Andrew Strauss retains his contract despite questions over his form and his retirement from one-day internationals.
Meanwhile, the England selectors have recalled Graeme Swann for the one-day internationals in Sri Lanka.
The Nottinghamshire off-spinner comes back for the first time in seven years.
Luke Wright is also in the 15-man squad as a replacement for Chris Tremlett.
Ravi Bopara and Sidebottom are both included but could be left out if they do not prove their fitness.
