Grown up acting in Adulthood
Ex-Eastenders star Ray Panthaki talked about working with British director Noel Clarke on the film Adulthood.
Referring to the film's prequel, Panthaki said: "We worked together on Kidulthood five years before anyone even saw it.
"It was kind of me and him just trying to make this movie against all the odds, so obviously I'm going to support it (Adulthood), just for him.
"Is he an amazing guy? Absolutely - very talented."
Clarke recently revealed that the idea of making a sequel actually came about by accident.
He said: "I had breakfast with the producer George Isaac and whilst we were laughing I said, 'Wouldn't it be funny if this happened,' then he said 'wouldn't it be funny if this happened.'"
He added: "So we started throwing ideas back and forth and I went home and wrote the first draft in about seven days."
