Court date set for McCartney judgement
The divorce battle between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills is to be decided next month.
Mr Justice Hugh Bennett will deliver his judgement on March 17 after the pair failed to reach a deal during five days of hearing behind closed doors at the High Court.
Sources say the judge may approach the parties over whether parts of the ruling can be made public.
There have been reports of demands from Miss Mills varying between £10 million and £60 million to end the four-year marriage.
If either she or Sir Paul do not agree with the judge's verdict, the case could go to the Court of Appeal where High Court Family Division secrecy ends and the whole of the case will be in the public eye
McCartney, whose fortune is generally estimated at £825 million, married Mills, a former model, in 2002.
The marriage between the 65-year-old and Mills, 40, lasted less than four years and the couple had a daughter, Beatrice.
