Kewell off to Galatasaray?
Turkish champions Galatasaray have claimed they have wrapped up a deal to sign former Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell.
But it now seems that the announcement may be premature, according to the Australia international's agent Bernie Mandic.
He said: "We have not finalised a deal for Harry and it's down to two possibilities."
The 29-year-old turned down a contract offer with Liverpool in May and entered the current transfer window as a free agent, with many clubs across Europe coveting his services.
Kewell was linked with Portsmouth, Fulham, Celtic and Roma, but Galatasaray have announced his signing on their website.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate has made his first summer signing by clinching a £3.2million deal for Holland Under-21 international Marvin Emnes.
The 20-year-old Sparta Rotterdam player has signed a four-year deal after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
Another Boro target, £4million rated Didier Digard, has been suspended by Paris St Germain after the midfielder accused them of holding up his move to the Riverside.
