Flamini signs Milan deal
Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has signed a four-year contract with the Italian giants Milan.
The France international has agreed to join the club when his Arsenal contract expires at the end of June.
Flamini said: "I am extremely happy. Thanks a million."
Flamini remains an Arsenal player until his deal runs out, so it is possible that he could make his final appearance for the club at Sunderland on Sunday.
But in reality, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is unlikely to pick a player who has already signed a contract with another club.
Flamini had been free to speak other clubs since January 1, but it seems he made a shrewd move to wait until the end of the season to make a decision because his recent form has attracted attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
