Seymour battles in court for party rights
Former Bond girl Jane Seymour is set to battle in court for her rights to throw late-night parties at her country mansion.
The 56-year-old star has already been in trouble with her neighbours, who are upset by revellers disrupting their peaceful surroundings, calling the parties "totally inappropriate".
But the Live and Let Die star has already secured a round-the-clock alcohol and entertainment licence, which will allow her to host all-night events at her Grade One listed manor, near Bath
Villagers say that officials at Bath and North East Somerset coucil did not consider their complaints before granting the licence.
Seymour's legal team will appear at Bath and Wansdyke Magistrates Court to fight the case but it is not known whether the actress will appear.
The house was bought by the actress and her director husband James Keach, 59, for £350,000 in 1984 after shooting the television film Jamaica Inn at the location.
The couple rent out the property for private functions when they are away.
