Potter fans stay loyal in Tokyo
Die-hard fans in Tokyo were out to meet Daniel Radcliffe ahead of the world premiere of the next Harry Potter film.
Although less than the expected hundreds of devotees turned up to the lobby in Narita International Airport to meet the Potter star, the few that arrived couldn't hide their love for the boy wizard.
"It seems like my lifetime dream has come true," said 18-year-old Mari Isobe. "The last time he came here, there were a lot of fans but very few today."
16-year-old Kazuha Aso added: "I don't know why - but it is not a bad thing for me because it increases the chance of him noticing me."
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is fifth in the series of movies based on the best-selling books by JK Rowling.
The Japanese premiere, which Radcliffe will attend, will be held in Tokyo on Thursday as the world's first such event.
