Egypt train crash kills 42

Egypt's worst train crash in two years has left 42 people dead.
Forty people were also injured when the train ploughed into a car and a bus at a level-crossing near Marsa Matruh, 270 miles north-west of the capital Cairo.

Egyptian authorities had dispatched a team of experts to investigate the causes of the crash.
A series of road and rail accidents over the past few years has triggered a public outcry over the government's handling of road and transport safety.
Two years ago, a train crash killed 58 people and injured scores more in the Nile Delta town of Qalyoub, north of Cairo.
