Warhol versus Banksy in art battle
Both are famous icons of the contemporary art world and both have sold their work for millions.
Now mysterious graffiti artist Banksy and 60s pop-art icon Andy Warhol are pitted against each other in a new exhibition.
Warhol vs Banksy has opened at members club The Hospital in central London with celebrity guests attending the launch night, including KT Tunstall, Kelly Osbourne and new Brit pop star, Kate Nash.
A total of 21 Warhol pieces and 22 by Banksy will be on display together at the gallery until September.
Many of the pieces are in direct competition with each other including Warhol's 1963 classic multi-coloured portrait of Marilyn Monroe up against Banksy's Kate Moss version in the same style.
Angelina Jolie is thought to be a huge fan of Banksy's street art and is reported to have snapped up three of his pieces for nearly £200,000.
And it seems like KT Tunstall can see why both artists have a special place in people's hearts:
"It (Warhol) was so bold at the time and I think what Banksy is very bold within a context of other people doing the same thing in a much more bland way."
Two pieces show Warhol's drawing of Queen Elizabeth versus Banksy's Monkey Queen which depicts the Queen as the animal.
The biggest highlight of the event is Warhol's legendary Campbell's soup paintings up against Banksy's tongue-in-cheek Tesco soup cans.
