Updated 15.53 Sun Feb 10 2008
Eveningwear designer Monique Lhuillier has taken flapper dancers as inspiration for her latest catwalk show during New York Fashion Week.
The French couturier showed off her Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 range at the stylish city's biggest fashion event.

The result was dresses in a rich array of colours with feathers for added glam.
Models strutted their stuff in chic gowns in shades of olive and mustard, peacock blue, grey, brown and black.
Model James King praised Lhuillier for a special touch, which she said was rare among today's designers.
But the world's fashion focus will be turning away from the Big Apple and on to the Big Smoke - London Fashion Week starts on Monday.
