Big Brother stars attend premiere

Danielle Lloyd and Shilpa Shetty have put the Celebrity Big Brother race row behind them after turning out for the world premiere of the Bollywood star's new film.

Lloyd, was vilified after ganging up on Shetty with Jade Goody and Jo O'Meara on Celebrity Big Brother.

Shetty's publicist Max Clifford also reportedly took Goody off the guest list for the premiere of Life In A Metro after she was originally invited.

But the Bollywood star admitted the Big Brother race row had helped her career.

She said: "It made me a stronger person and a more famous person of course.

"This is the first ever Leicester Square premiere for an Indian movie. It's something that I once dreamed of but never imagined would happen."

Since the reality show finished, Shetty has met the Queen, been offered a part in a musical, is bringing out her own perfume and has been inundated with a string of offers for commercials, modelling work and book deals.

She also recently caused controversy in India when Hindu nationalists took offence to Hollywood star Richard Gere openly planting kisses on her cheek at an Aids awareness event.
