BFI reels in the years
A list of the Top Ten most-watched films in the British Film Institute's archive has been compiled by curators.
A year ago, the BFI opened its doors to the public so hundreds of rolls of film, that in some cases hadn't been seen in decades, could be viewed.
The BFI's Mediatheque, located at London's South Bank, now has over 1,000 titles from the National Archive which can be accessed through the click of a mouse - and for free.
The Mediatheque's digitised collections will continue to grow each month to provide an unrivalled portrait of Britain across the history of film and television.
You can either turn up on the day or book a viewing session in advance and then log on to a viewing station and the world of film's your oyster.
