Girl quizzed after man stabbed to death
A 16-year-old girl is being questioned by police after a 19-year-old man was stabbed to death at a block of flats.
He was found by officers after they were called out to St Claire Flats, Penzance, Cornwall at 3.30pm on Saturday.
A police spokesman confirmed they were a couple and had argued before he was found stabbed and she was arrested elsewhere.
"It does appear to be some form of domestic at some stage but whether the injuries resulted from that we don't know," he added.
Elsewhere, a 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man was found stabbed, police said.
Officers were called to reports of a serious assault at a house in Oakland Terrace, in Ashington, Northumberland, at 12.58am on Sunday.
Northumbria Police said a 38-year-old man was found inside with stab wounds to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said a knife was found at the scene.
Meanwhile, a teenager has been charged with the murder of a man stabbed in the street near his home.
Anthony Blakelock, 21, Co Durham, died in hospital on Saturday after he was found collapsed on the ground at around 4am.
An 18-year-old local youth will appear in court charged with his murder, Durham Police said
