Radcliffe greets Aussie fans
Daniel Radcliffe has been met by hundreds of fans at the Australian premiere of his new film December Boys.
The Harry Potter star greeted the mainly female crowd and signed books from JK Rowling's hit series.
Radcliffe said he had enjoyed making December Boys, which is his first major role outside the Potter flicks.
But he said filming in the Outback was pretty different to his London home.
The 18-year-old said: "Having grown up and lived in London all my life, it's a very strange experience, because there's nothing!"
Based on the Michael Noonan novel, December Boys is the story of four orphan teenagers growing up in a Catholic convent in outback Australia during the 1960s.
The film looks at the rivalries between the boys when they compete for the parental affections of a young couple unable to have children.
