Hollywood hunk Jesse Metcalf is in hot trouble after being snapped hugging a mystery woman in Los Angeles.

The Desperate Housewives star is dating Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle but was pictured strolling hand in hand with a brunette lady in sunny California while Nadine is working in the UK.

The report said that Nadine is furious with the her man and is not the kind of girl to put up with that kind of behaviour but her people are refusing to confirm the status of their relationship

The pictures have sparked off huge speculation about the couple's future - with one tabloid going as far as to say the Girls Aloud star has dumped Jesse.

Whatever the outcome the Love Machine singer certainly has a lot going on to keep her preoccupied.

Along with fellow members Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts she has been busy filming the bands sizzling schoolgirl cameo in the new St Trinian's flick.

The Girls are also off on a big tour this summer and are releasing a new album in October.

Whether the pictures will spell the end for the couple remains to be seen.
