Two arrested in London stabbing

A teenager who was stabbed to death in a fight outside a bar has been remembered by his friends as a football mad "gentle giant".

The young man, named locally as 19-year-old Oliver Kingonzila, was the 26th teenager to be killed in London this year.

Mr Kingonzila, from Croydon, known to his friends as Ollie, was knifed following a confrontation outside the E Bar in south London.

Manchester United fan Mr Kingonzila was a semi-professional footballer with London side Barnet.

A group of about 20 of his friends gathered to lay flowers outside the E Bar which is still being searched by forensic officers.

They said he was set upon in an unprovoked attack while enjoying a night out in the bar.

He was taken to a south London hospital but was pronounced dead in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Two 18-year-old's are in custody at a South London police station.
