Teenagers in court over student murder

Two teenagers charged with the murder of a student on New Year's Day have made their first appearance in court.
The teens, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are charged alongside Darren Carr, 35, and his partner Nicola Faulds, 32, of murdering 16-year-old Bradley Whitfield.

He died from a fatal puncture wound to the neck while out celebrating with friends in Leicester.
It is alleged that weapons including broken bottles were used in the attack.
Carr and Foulds were remanded back in custody while the teenagers were granted bail on condition they live at given addresses and abide by a curfew.
All four defendants are due to appear in court again on April 11.
