Colly's captaincy questioned
Paul Collingwood's leadership qualities are being questioned after England failed to reach the semi-finals of the ICC World Twenty20.
England recorded just one victory in South Africa against Zimbabwe before suffering four successive defeats.
And legendary England batsman Geoff Boycott has questioned the wisdom of appointing Collingwood as one-day skipper.
Boycott wrote in his newspaper column: "After this showing, I am yet to be convinced that (coach Peter) Moores and Collingwood are getting to grips with their jobs.
"Collingwood doesn't give me the impression that he is a natural leader. He made a number of mistakes during the tournament, most obviously when he forgot to give (Andrew) Flintoff his full allocation of overs against South Africa.
"If Collingwood can't handle that, he should pack the captaincy in. He certainly needs to buck his ideas up if he is to challenge Michael Vaughan's hold on the Test job."
Boycott has also criticised the England team's inconsistency and described their campaign as "chaotic".
He added: "I will say one thing for England's one-day cricketers: they keep you on the edge of your seat.
"Even when they are going well, you cannot help but wait for the next cock-up.
"They show flashes of quality, both in batting or bowling but they never seem to complete an innings.
"Just when they are starting to get on top, there is always a run-out, a dropped catch or a reckless shot around the corner.
"Look at the way England went about this tournament. It was chaotic! The batting order kept changing and so did the tactics."
