Snoop and Diddy cancel UK tour

Snoop and P Diddy have reportedly cancelled the British leg of their European tour after the gangsta rapper was denied a visa.

The shows were to go ahead with just P Diddy and a few special guests, but it looks like promoters are calling it day.

A tour spokesman has been quoted as saying the shows were cancelled after "credible behind the scenes efforts were made to no avail to reverse the decision".

He added that the musicians were "incredibly disappointed and devastated".

They were to perform in London, Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow and Nottingham. The tour resumes in Dublin on March 31.

In a recent interview, Snoop Dogg expressed he was frustrated by the UK authorities' last minute decision to deny him entry into the country.

He said: "They knew I was coming six, seven weeks ago, so they could have denied me access then.

He added: "I cannot control my past - me being an ex-gang member, ex-drug dealer - but I know how to do what's right, how to turn my life around."
