Barca put huge price tag on Ronaldinho

Barcelona want more than £31 million for Ronaldinho and club president Joan Laporta says Milan are the favourites to sign him.

Club coach Frank Rijkaard believes Ronaldinho has played his last game for Barcelona, but Laporta still wants a big transfer fee for the former world player of the year.

"Milan is the team who have showed the best interest" - Joan Laporta

He said: "I only say that Ronaldinho is worth more than 40 million euros.

"He has never created the slightest problem and I'm sure he will return to how he was before, as soon as he is well.

"He just needs to find new motivation, but it's no foregone conclusion that he has to leave because he can find this with us, given that his contract runs until 2010."

Ronaldinho has been linked with a move to Manchester City and club owner Thaksin Shinawatra would have to dig deep into his pockets to meet Barcelona's demands and pay the Brazil international's wages.

Laporta added: "We have had many offers from England, but Milan is the team who have showed the best interest."
