£1.5m wedding deal for Rooney and Coleen?
Wayne Rooney and girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin have reportedly landed a £1.5m magazine deal for their rumoured wedding in 2008.
According to a national newspaper, it will be the most Hello! magazine has paid for exclusive rights to cover a celebrity wedding, piping the £1m paid to Liz Hurley to cover her recent nuptials and celebrations in Britain and India.
The deal will also cover Coleen's 21st birthday party at the end of the month.
300 guests are expected to attend the bash, including P Diddy and the Sugarbabes.
The couple, who got engaged in 2003, reportedly decided to go ahead with the deal after being impressed with the security arrangements at Hurley's wedding.
But Ian Monk, the publicist believed to have set up the magazine deal, would not confirm reports, saying: "We cannot discuss our clients' business."
