England unchanged for third Test

Updated 13.28 Wed Jun 04 2008

The England cricket team will be unchanged for the third Test against New Zealand at Trent Bridge.

As expected, the selectors decided to leave Hampshire bowler Chris Tremlett out of the team and they have chosen the same team that won the second Test at Old Trafford.

"We know there are areas that we need to work on" - Michael Vaughan

It will be the first time since 1885 that England have been unchanged for five Tests in a row.

England captain Michael Vaughan said: "It is a side that has won three out of the last four games. We know there are areas that we need to work on but it is a great opportunity for our swing bowlers."

Andrew Flintoff will probably be available for the first Test against South Africa, so the England players will be fighting for their places.

Ian Bell and Paul Collingwood are the most likely players to be under threat from Flintoff.
