Stars shine at Night Of 1,000 Voices

Stars of the stage and screen have wowed the Royal Albert Hall for the annual Night Of 1000 Voices.

For the past eight years, the musical extravaganza in aid of charity has been held at the famous London landmark and has attracted performers from around the world.

Special guests who have previously performed include Michael Ball and Glenn Close

Myleene Klass hosted the show which sees legends of the stage sing famous musical numbers while accompanied by the Sing Live UK massed choir and The City of London Philharmonic.

Each year a musical great or an aspect of musical theatre is chosen to be celebrated and have previously included The Broadway Musical, Cy Coleman, Stephen Sondheim, Tim Rice and Trevor Nunn.

Special guests who have previously performed include Michael Ball, Glenn Close, Cy Coleman, Michael Crawford, David Essex, James Galway, Roy Hudd, Gloria Hunniford, Howard Keel, Roger Moore and Elaine Paige.

The Night Of 1,000 Voices was originally produced as the centenary celebration for The National Opera and Dramatic Association with 1000 members of NODA singing songs from the shows.
