Hatton predicts fight offers to flood in
Ricky Hatton is back in Manchester and already thinking about his next fight.
The Hitman returned home to a hero's welcome almost a week after losing his welterweight world title bout to Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas.
Hatton said: "It was a big task moving up in weight and fighting the best pound-for pound fighter. I lost my rag, which didn't help my cause.
"Now I'll sit down, have a rest then see whether my next fight will be at welterweight or light welterweight.
"It depends what fights are offered to me. There is talk about De La Hoya and a rematch with Mayweather could be in the offing.
"Even though I was beaten, everybody will be queuing to fight me because they saw my fan base took over Mayweather's home town. It was incredible."
