A camera-shy baby sea lion has been unveiled to the public at Berlin Zoo.
Named after one of his trainers, Volker's the first baby sea lion born in captivity at the zoo since 1933.

Crowds are flocking to see Volker but the little fellow is preferring to stay submerged.
At birth the cub weighed eight kilograms and was 50 centimetres long.
But little Volker has a lot of growing to do as male California sea lions can weigh up to 300 kilograms and reach 2.4 metres in length.
